An apology to all my Webkinz and Neopets forever lost to the digital abyss

It started with Pola, a pretty polar bear. By this age, I was an expert at naming things. Pola was always happy to wander around my little Webkinz home and wherever else I took her. Of course, it wouldn’t do to have her lonely.

My next addition was Britney, a white terrier. I had changed naming conventions by this point. I was more mature now, and a nonsense name simply would not do. Britney and Pola were getting along quite nicely, but two friends hardly makes a social circle.

That’s where Alex came into the mix. He was, incidentally, named after my boyfriend at the time. Alas, the spotted leopard…
